8. Select Ok and Ok again
Method 4: Disable scan tool on Windows network
You can also disable the tool via registry or group policy. This is the easier method for you if you are a system administrator. You can disable the tool from the connected computer. You can disable this tool via the Group Policy Editor as described in the following steps:
- First, download a Google policy template.
- After downloading, extract the files to another folder.
- Now you need to copy Google.admx and Chrome.admx.
Then put it in the C: Windows PolicyDefinitionsfolder. - Now copy Google.adml and Chrome.adml. You can find it in the en-us folder.
Then copy it to C:WindowsPolicyDefinitionsen-us - Now open the group policy editor
- You can open it from the run window and enter “gpedit.msc“.
- Then there are the new Google guidelines: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Google -> Google Chrome
- You have now disabled this in Google Chrome “Enable Chrome cleanup on Windows“.
