Rainbow Obsidian was formed when lava once cooled at different times, and captured Magnetite nanoparticles within these layers. The Magnetite nanoparticles cause multicolored iridescence that shines bright when any light hits it. The best localities of Rainbow Obsidian are in Mexico, although a few newer locations in the USA have been discovered within the last couple years.

Rainbow Obsidian helps you to identify your own flaws and gives you a clear picture of the changes which are necessary to turn them into strengths. It is made of volcanic glass and the layers are produced due to the inclusion of pyroxene’s nanoparticles. It is from the planet pluto and deemed as a “warrior of truth”.
