The simplest and preferred VPN client to use is BU Cisco AnyConnect Client. It is web-based with no installation or configuration requirements. 1. Cisco Anyconnect VPN client uses two kinds of Web security. First is On-premise Cisco Web Security Appliance and the other is Cloud-based Cloud Web Security Offering.

AnyConnect Plus/Apex licensing and Cisco head-end hardware is required. The application is not permitted for use with legacy licensing (Essentials or Premium PLUS Mobile). AnyConnect may not be used with non-Cisco hardware under any circumstances. 1. After the installation is complete, you should restart your computer.
2. Ensure that you have an active network connection in order for the VPN client to connect.
3. Launch the Cisco AnyConnect Client.

5. Click Connect. You will be prompted for your BU login name and BU Kerberos password.
